This is Equalizing-X-Distort for Sunday, February 17th, 2013. Equalizing-X-Distort is a weekly hardcore punk show broadcast live on CIUT 89.5FM in Toronto. Tonight's show started out with a cover of the "Roadrunner" cartoon. We did a look atthe releases that came out in January 2013. And the demo feature is a band from Halifax called Abject Pax.

Tonight's demo feature is from Halifax. I learned about them from Jon Sharron of Hassler. I was speaking with him about the artist who did the artwork for the cover of the "Asphyxiate" ep and he plays in Abject Pax. He also plays in Concrete Asylum. You can find the Abject Pax demo at bandcamp.
